Jest Quest is a side scrolling RPG that follows a Jester’s rags to riches journey from the slums to the greatest castle in all the lands. Players will explore the large overworld, where they can select the level they wish to explore. This brings the player into a side scrolling section, where they can talk with NPCS, some of which will initiate a “battle” where the Jester must impress them with various tricks. There can also be shops that sell limited amounts of items, and NPCs that open up new routes on the map for the player to take. The Jester will have various types of skills and tricks that will impress his opponents. Impressing enemies, clearing levels, and progressing through the story will allow the Jester to level up their abilities.
